graveyard trick

I know this is going to make me look like an uneducated n00bz but I'm willing to take that risk. I hate dying, running, and rezzing just to earn myself a few feet. Can someone please clarify how the heck to do that neat trick where you can teleport to any spirit healer and rez there? I've heard bits and pieces of it in threads here and there but never really enough to figure out how to work it.

Also, you can't exploit this fix to get back into Darkmoon Island after the Faire closes... lol, I tried!

Get a turtle and cruise Stranglethorn in style. Also, for DMF, once ST hits midnight, all the NPCs simply despawn. Even if you stay logged in, there is no chest, and you can't wait for dailies to reset or buy anything.

The idea was to fish the pools for the turtle.

But you get ported out immediately, even if you are ghost :/

I didn't check to see if the pools were still there or not. I'll take a look next month. TH is usually pretty easy to fish in though. As long as you remain logged in, then you should be able to keep fishing until you get bored.

Yeah. Well I loged out there and when I came back this afternoon, I just got ported out. I guess it's all in the not loging out.

I believe the last working method was crossing zones as a ghost and using the "Return to Graveyard" button. Though it may have been fixed in 4.3, as last I checked was the week before 4.3. Could someone confirm?

You had to cross zones as a ghost, then logout/login (which apparently reset your spirit healer location), and then use "Return to Graveyard"

Not true at all, you simply had to be closer to the new GY when you clicked, then you got ported. It doesn't really matter what you could do now. Now you can't do anything. I haven't tried it in AB recently, but you could also use it back then to avoid being spawn camped and res in another GY.

Admittedly, I haven't tried this successfully since BC when there was no "Return to Graveyard" button, so I am sure my information is out of date!

Actually some people for one reason or another couldn't just port and rez even if standing on top of the graveyard, logging out was simply a guarantee that you wouldn't get ported back to your original zone. But like you said it doesn't matter because none of it works now.
