I'm not saying you are emote spammer.... ... You use emote macros like I do ( /spit - for example ).

Yeah, I probably made it for Navydew or something. Not what I would use regularly. As you can see in the screenshot below, coincidentally of my new personal HP record, spit is no longer on my bars.

I don't think the hat is cursed. It's very nice, and a rare drop, but of course everyone's more interested in the UI! Don't get to see other people's all that often.
Don't take it to heart, I'm sure you only use the macro in the right situations.

I still have my cross lingual macro though.... In orcish it reads "Me love you" or something along those lines. I save it for when I see those AP horde premades ^-^

Beyond pirate TM, the hat itself has no real use. It's only use on a permanent F2P account is taking up bag space.

As for emotes, I use them from time to time. I /moo at cows and /fear at locks. Maybe one or two others from time to time. I only do them once though, and never spam. I ignore spammers on both sides, and yes, there are people that insist on filling the screen with emotes, yells and /s on both sides. I just type them manually though, and have no use for cluttering up my screen with pointless crap. If you've got time to spam emotes, you're wasting time that could be spent fighting.

Many times I have seen people spam emotes at me when they think they're going to kill me, only for me to kill them instead. Perhaps if they concentrated on playing the game instead of emote spam no one pays attention to anyway, they wouldn't be spending the next thirty seconds in black and white.

Because other people do it is never good argument ,you might have felt put on the spot but my post was more of general question if people do frown upon usage /spit , spamming etc , not personal.
