Trying to get Lovely Luck Is On Your Side - Achievement - World of Warcraft, I am now 0 for 6: red, blue, purple, purple, purple, purple.

Anyone else having bad luck with this achievement?

It's supposed to be a 25% chance so just keep at it is the only advice I can give. I haven't tried it myself yet though. If you are doing all 6 dailies every day you will have plenty of love tokens for the mount and all the achievements.

Yes, I am down to 9 days left of dailies which is just enough tokens for the mount. That means the tokens for the boxes have to be grinded separately.

lol, I haven't wasted a weekend day like this in a long time

I got mine on my second, which saved me a lot of pointless grinding. You have an ~86% chance to get it from 8 boxes. Of course, each box still only has a ~25% chance to contain the black dress and it doesn't matter how many you open, you always only have that chance on each individual box. For everyone that gets it on their first and second try, that means some people won't get it on their tenth or more.

RNG doesn't like you, but keep at it, and you'll get it eventually.
