Its the MMR.
Therefore I'm (guessing) he is at ~1600 MMR, at that MMR I'd expect people to auto attack, backpeddle, auto attack.
But gj playing the comp, playing for fun is the best way .

Arena is generally a crap idea, being thrown into a shoe box with your opponent isn't my idea of inventive pvp but thats just my two cents.

Yeah, the amount of hunters i've seen with 2200+ in 2s/3s can be counted on one hand, Played with a restoration shaman a couple months back, Finally worked our way upto 2000, Quit due to excess amounts of double gnome rogues, two synapse/tazik, etc. Oneshotting my 48% Resilience shaman.

Was goofing around with a haste/spirit stacked discipline priest awhile back, Got 2130 or so in an afternoon, Can't remember why we didn't just hit 2200, i'll need to finish that up some time.

But anywho, Hunter's pair insanely well with priests, namely discipline priests.

Well after a good few hours of arena, we failed to reach over 1.6k. This was mainly due to mage rogue teams... Thus we have decided to disband our arena team.

We intend to run hunter/warr/rsham in 3s, and warr/priest with my priest (I will be teaming up with a resto shaman).

When we both have maxed professions (and I'm not so rusty from a 13 day break), we will try this comp again and hopefully break the 1750 barrier. In the meantime we will be thinking up counter strategies to popular teams at 1.5k+ (i.e. mage/priest, mage/rogue and rogue/priest, any advice in this area would be greatly appreciated!)

Thanks for all your support, it's been a lot of fun and we hope to battle together again in a few weeks ^^
