Usergroup Changes + RIP MVP Usergroup

Hello everyone.

The staff and I here at TI have been talking about the usergroup setup and we believe that some of the usergroups got a bit diluted, primarily the MVP usergroup. This usergroup had a good foundation at the start, but it was not well maintained by the previous owner. So, the staff and I have decided to drop the group.

In lieu of the MVP usergroup being gone, we have added a new usergroup called 'TI Addict' and it is automatically given to anyone that hits 1000 posts. We believe that this usergroup signifies a dedication to the community and shows a willingness to be more active. As post counts get higher and higher, we may add more usergroups to fulfill a need.

We will also be introducing the 'Donor' usergroup which will get some very cool features such as a 2500 PM box capacity, access to the TI Shoutbox, larger avatar sizes, access to a private Donor forum, ability to create a Custom User Title, and MUCH more!

The staff and I are excited about these changes and hope that you are to. I am sure that there will be some people that do not agree with this change, but we felt it was necessary in proceeding to change the image of TI for the better.

I just fixed that. I meant for the default avatar size to be 200x200 for both Donor and Addict. Addict is literally the Donor rank, but it is earned rather than bought.

Why not make the posts count more for TI Addict. 1k really isn't much posts. Make it 2k or 3k or even 4k, everyone is going to have TI Addict.

The ideas sound good. People who are willing to post and get interested in TI should be rewarded. Let's just hope that donating doesn't give too much benefit wise to alienate themselves away from the rest of the community.

Currently there are 67 people with the usergroup 'TI Addict'. I am trial-running the usergroup and will adjust it if need be.

Well we're a bit behind on reports because we are still working on the transition so it may take a bit of time before we get back up to date. Please do report post farming if you suspect it.
