I'm new to twinking but have been playing WoW for over 3 years and I'm interested in trying out level 20 twinking, but I am still a little bit unsure on it. If someone could give me some pointers, that'd be great ie which faction to choose and what classes are needed.

if you want the best possible F2P experience, go to Aerie Peak.

There are more horde F2Ps than Alliance F2Ps on Aerie Peak but there are more Alliance F2Ps in general(across WoW) than there is on Horde(Meaning Alliance ques are longer than Hordes)

As far as classes, we need more healers. All healers are viable but healing as a druid can be difficult at times.

Hello and Welcome!

First - download the chat add on (stickied in this forum section). Second - roll a character on Aerie Peak. Third - you cannot talk in chat until you reach level 3 (to disclude spammers/griefers).

Faction - either is fine. Generally whatever you find more fun. Alliance on AP seems to have less activity. So - help out Alliance or jump into Horde - your call.

Class - alot of posts requesting this. I will not tell you what kind of rum to drink nor what class to play. Pick one that you think will be fun. In this bracket it's easy to start over and create new characters so no worries.

Hey, I think I have downloaded the chat addon, and my toon is lvl 9 atm, but I still can't see the chat, or speak into the chat channel. although, i do see words saying "so and so" has come online, "so and so" has come offline. can you plz help me out?

Figure I would just post in this instead of making a new one basically title the same thing. Haven't played wow since wotlk but I randomly stumble on this site and read up on the whole f2p twinking. Got me really interested and excited to see how active it is. Just rolled an ally warrior on Aerie Peak. Thinking I might roll a horde mage too. I didn't have the chat addon installed earlier but I have it now.

Under general chat settings you might need to check the global channel box for f2p chat.
