    **Unconfirmed that we can get these (no one has 50 pets yet to check). The pets are mailed to you, but you should be able to use the recover pet feature from any Stable Master instead of accessing your mailbox. (this could actually be tested on a p2p account also but don't think anyone has ever bothered...it should be possible as tabards received from both quests and achievements are recoverable)

    I just occurred to me that most of the dropped pets can be farmed in pairs (the yellow ones can be done without p2p help):
