    • The question is, is it worth the gold/farming hours?
    I already use protectors sword, but I have heard around, mainly from Adeus that Shadowfang is the BiS,
    which I am not arguing with, I just want to know from everyone else if it is really worth it. I am willing to
    attempt the farming hours for it, but I really want to know if it is worth it. I want to get this twink to
    the best of its capacity.

    TL;DR?

    Is shadowfang with it for a fury warrior?
     
    It is not BiS for a warrior
    Ive done the maths a few months ago and BoA sword is the best main hand weapon for a fury warrior

    So, Bloodsoaked Skullforged Reaver, with +3 Str +4 Stam, Parry+ 3, and 15 DPS.

    Over, Protector's Sword, with +4 Str, +2 Stam, and 15.1 DPS.

    Or, Shadowfang, with +6 Agil, the 30 damage chance on hit, and 15.8 DPS.

    I would have thought either the Protector's Sword, or Shadowfang would have been better, Shadowfang for the more DPS and the shadowbolt, or Protector's Sword for more strength and DPS than the BoA sword.
     
    If you want to get your twink to it's highest capacity I suggest you stop posting on TI and max out your profs

    doesnt matter really just look at the stats BoA is probably the worst choice
    SF > protectors > no other choice
    but remember little tinkers BiS is all opinionated so BiS to someone isnt BiS to others
     
    Okay,I always forget about the proc so I guess it can also be considered as BiS but the BoA sword is just as good so no need to spend 100k and IRL $$ for no reason

    Actually, it's nothing like that, since they cost pennies compared to SF.

    I would hardly call using Protector's Sword 'half-assing', as it's going to put out almost identical damage. Especially since bloodthirst will do the same damage with both weps.

    having shadowfang would make such a minimal difference compared to protectors sword

    better spend the time learning your class to full and becoming better than farm 100k for a very low dps increase, like dori has stated in other threads

    Well obviously, if you're sitting on hundreds of thousands of gold, then it isn't such a big issue. But if you actually read the original post, the OP asked if it's worth farming gold or farming SFK, which means he isn't sitting on hundreds of thousands of gold.
