29 warrior

  • Hey;

    I'm looking to start/xfer a 29 warrior over to you guys at WIndrunner (since I really don't want to farm BoA's again).

    Anyway, I would make a rogue, but I have 10+ and don't really like low level rogue pvp.

    I am just looking for a class that can dual wield swords (since I'm *** for Protector's Sword model). It's this or a hunter afaik, and I would really rather not play a hunter.

    Is it even worth making if I want to play fury?

    Thankouu <3

    This is what I wound up deciding on, along the lines of.

    I am not 100% sure on any of it, or if I need to level BS / tailor / LW to 225 for certain gear, as well.

    Swap out crusader w/ lifestealing? Also; I want to use swords, because I love the protector's sword model.

    I will probably use LFH as well. I didn't roll for trinket because I find it so rarely used (even at 85, I roll with 2 pve trinkets in bgs). Being a nelf, I can smeld charge/poly/fears, etc - which is a smaller cooldown then trinket - so the only thing I really need the trinket for is gouge, CS, whatnot, etc. But I assume most rogues in this bracket will open with ambush, anyway. I don't believe that I would beat a rogue worth his salt on a warrior, anyway.

    I opted for high hit because, without the combat charge of Prot, I feel that I need to be getting as many hits in as possible while on target. I picked pieces that offered a decent tradeoff of stamina > strength in the assumption that I will be kited, and this will give me more time to get out of LoS.

    I feel like there are some things I left out. The spec I purely guessed on.

    How does this look?

    How about arms warriors, do they do any real damage? Like badass motherfucking 2-hit huntards? And do 29s have any kind of activity on EU?

    Thanks. Sorry for hijacking thread but its kinda on topic.

    Sadly we dont have enough players on EU atm... but i'm still here waiting patiently that some ol' vetereans come back and try to revive it together with me ;D
    My first Warr was arms and I still like playing him. However, furry does more dmg and has an extra slow which is rly important. If you need some advices just ask^^

    Warrior Vs. Range

    Warrior are very good Vs. melee. Rogues can give trouble but other than that they are very good. Ranged will really get you though. If you get your charge off before they attack you then your odds are high on killing ranged... but for the most part by the time you even get into charge range they would've allready attacked you. BUT if you role protection, at level 29 you can get "Warbringer" which makes you able to cast charge while in combat. So, if you charge and hamstring combo, your target will be stunned and reduced speed... therefor making them easier to kill. Hopes this helps! :cool:
