I am hoping to get the neck pattern from guild soon, I have the mats already. I have the Felmyst staff, but I prefer the SP and Haste from Sin'Dorei when I have BG buffs to 40% crit.

I still need the head attachment from rep as well but I believe that and the neck are all I'm missing for the best possibly offense statted Mage.

Anyone have anything I've missed to add?

I have the Hit/Haste PvE Neck and the ring from first boss BT which is as good or better than LoFP. I need another cloak for 23 Haste, I have another pair of boots with Icewalker and another pair of KJ BiS gloves with 20 Hit rating and I use Sliver instead of PvP trinket.

Also, what's best way to farm rep for helm attachment?

to much haste, its pretty over kill after like 20% i believe and completely useless. not enough crit, for 100% shatter crits and gemming for spell pen > cloak chant + ring since when? dont be another qpac

Haste is never useless, and I didn't understand your statement about the gemming spell pen cloak enchant comment. 1 spell pen gem = 25 spell pen, 1 haste gem is 20 haste, 35 spell pen chant is worth more than 23 haste. One spell pen gem + cloak ench = done.

Why would I use that ring? It's a lower ilvl and less overall stats, plus 35+14 isn't even close to the 60-70 you need just for race resists.

You shouldn't critique something you have no grasp of >.>.

Also, as I said, I am well over crit cap when buffed and have the other staff for when I'm not. Don't understand why people post critiques without even bothering to read what's said.

intel > haste, yo ucan only cast so fast after you've broken the GCD, so haste has a cap for casters, mostly mages. theirs plenty of guides on this very website with mages that have maxed over/under stats, but one thing is for sure, you need to remember that Intel > any other stat in this game for everything, and that goes for all classes

intel > haste, yo ucan only cast so fast after you've broken the GCD, so haste has a cap for casters, mostly mages.

Yea but I'm in full PvE gear ATM. When I'm 4pc PvP which I arena in I only have 19% haste and 33.8% crit.

I could change some of the int/haste to int but then I'm losing socket bonuses and I want them for PvE especially since haste is good for Arcane and I don't like skipping socket bonuses.

when you post a critique post, wear the gear you would like to be critiqued in.

Int > anything! socket bonuses mean nothing. 7 int = 14 sp, which is > than the 3 sp you would gain or + 3 haste or anything. always.

Pretty sure Int is a 1-1.1 ratio to Spell Power, not 1-2. I appreciate the attempt at help but you don't know what you're talking about >.>

ok, my bad. 7 int = 7 sp > 3 sp socket bonus. i dotn need to play a mage to understand the basical principle of Int > Crit >/ 33% >/ Haste, and then base off what you need, I.E. HIt, Spell pen, etc after you maximized the amount of intel you can get from sockets, etc. this is a very simple and basical priority for level 70 frost mages and has been used since WoTLK, you do not have mastery like you do @ 85, so the stats priority is a little different. Haste is a completely viable and great stat due to the amount of haste you can achieve, but intel is overall a better stat, and you must come to terms with this fact or stop posting and asking people to critique your gear choices.

i do realize optimizing your gear choices to make the crit cap is a little bit difficult without gemming crit, which then yes, i would suggest optimally gemming for the socket bonuses to minimize the amount of stat loss you get.
