Consumable mats farming

So, I'm curious where people farm some of the more pain in the butt mats. Mainly Mageweave, but also swiftthistle; hillsbrad seems to be the best place, but I'm wondering if someone likes another zone since hillsbrad is kinda a pain for ally.

Soloing mageweave is a choice of high levels that have a high chance of dropping it and lower levels with a lower chance of dropping it. There is no easy or fast way. Hillsbrad is definitely the best place for swifthistle, herbs everywhere, and all briarthorn and mageroyal. No other zone comes close. Just fly to Aerie Peak and head south from there. Get in some chest farming while you're there. SW, Duskwood and Wetlandsx3 are the best place for health potions. Bloodmyst Isle for venom sacs and crystal shards.

Well, if anyone is interested, Irontree choppers in felwood are an amazing group of mobs to farm mageweave. They have a really high drop chance, there are no other mobs in the area, tons to kill.. and the best part is they are all fighting npcs, so you have dps help, they get dazed by the npcs, they are melee only. This spot is awesome. I'm getting mageweave atleast twice as fast as I can farm silk. about 1.3 per minute.

Farmed my silk from zombies next to gurubashi. Easy to kite.

I have 2 staks Mageweave Bandage ....I dont used them very often because I heal myself..but Silk Cloth drops in Duskwood from this NPCs :

• Nightbane Vile Fang
  
• Nightbane Dark Runner
  
• Nightbane Worgen
  
• Nightbane Tainted One
  

Whend I have some spare time ... I farm that kind of mobs ( other models too ) for the Demon Band ... and they drop silk quite often 7%-9% , blues or greens for xmog and healing potions too. My 2 cents : go Duskwood, Hillsbrad, Wetlands or Ashenvale .. you will get some silk and some items.

I find that Northern Barrens is a good place to farm swiftthistle for my holy resist pots ( dont have the speed pot atm ) when I'm gone fishing Deviate Fish for Savory Deviate & Elixir of Giant Growth
