FC Mage - Is there such thing?

I'm usually the one rolling absurd classes, or least played specs.



and I've been thinking of playing a mage, and I was wondering if they'd be of any use as a FC? (If geared correctly of course [no budget])



I presume frost would be the ideal spec if so.



If so? What's a recommended gear list?
