Character Restoration Help

    • Hi, I just have a question. I've sent many GM tickets in to try and restore my 19 paladin that I deleted sometime around 3 years ago. Everytime they have told me it isn't possible because low level characters are not in the database for a very long time. I was wondering if any of you have gotten a twink of yours back, after it being deleted for 1 year +. Thanks
     
    I deleted my 19 rogue on Christmas Eve. And I got him back a week ago. Maybe about 1-5 months is the most you can wait, and after that you cant restore.
     
    Right after cata I restored an old BC 19 twink, I just gave the name, told the I left a lot of valuable items on it and needed him back, and they restored and told me to to be more careful before deleting.

    So wait, did you delete this twink around BC? Which was like 3 years ago, or sometime like in the middle of wrath?
     
    Ask for their Boss. Senior GMs can do a bit more than normal GMs.

    Yes, they'll say something like "I don't know, blahblahblah" Just keep telling them in a polite tone that if they cannot help you with this situation, please bump this to someone higher in the department.



    Works everytime, don't do it too much. GMs get bitchy if you make 10+ tickets asking for their supervisors.

    edit - If they tell you no, you have no chance or hope. They are the people below Game Dev's and you have no chance reasoning or even talking with them.
