Level 1 Raid group

Put this script into a macro. You still can not join a raid at level 1 with it though.
The biggest use I see is for For The Horde, BB King, etc runs. You can invite other levels above 10 to it and that way you can keep up with them.

You could also use it for a full compliment of raid buffs, although I think you can cover all of them in a regular party...however, you could have a group of level 1s...and then get raid buffs with them for group kills



There might be other uses...any come to mind?

1) start a party and/or be the leader
2) invite up to 4 other level one's while still a party
3) run the macro

I don't know that I would if I could... But it would make getting the other 10 trinkets a little quicker.

The most level 1s you can have in the raid would be 5. You'd have to invite them all to the party first, then convert to raid. It's silly that you can start a raid with this script, but can't join one. But then yes, after the raid is made, you can invite 35 of your closest lvl 85 friends to protect you

It's built into the API .. so I don't think it's something they are going to 'fix'. The whole point of the not joining a raid (at least according to Ghostcrawler) was so that low levels wouldn't get scammed or harrassed by higher levels (inviting them to raids and them not being able to get quest credit and not know why).

Hum, unfortunately, I can not...

I connect my Level 1 twink, I connect four level 1 toons, I invite them in a party, they accept, I use the script, I try to enter to raid mode and... I have a error message, too low levels. T.T





I play on EU servers, is this a problem? Someone else like me?

I just have a macro setup that does both when you hit it:
/run SetAllowLowLevelRaid(true)
/script ConvertToRaid();

are you starting in a party or are you trying to join an existing raid?

you can not join a raid ... you have to be the party leader and switch to a raid

I have been in many raids this way, by using /run SetAllowLowLevelRaid(true)
then /script ConvertToRaid(); to convert to raid. But when we tried to make a 5man of lvl 1 twinks then convert to raid, it didn't work even though everyone said they had run the low level raid. I haven't been in a raid since then so I don't really know
