Just to add some light on the paladin with that 2.7k achievement.
Wintrading to it is easy providing you have the mmr, but if you don't it is extremely difficult and time consuming. The reason why alot of 70s have it is the former and 99% of them show no gratitude towards those including myself in farming mmr. My team in 3s is approaching 2.3k right now after the mmr reset, we get +5-6 from 2k teams, who are few and far apart to say the least (but atleast the 70s bracket gets pops) even with 1000-0 my team could not reach 2.7k without meeting other high teams (which can happen but they need to be on equal mmr for +12)
As a result of this, you have to farm up your mmr, this involves hundreds of games, like the above, and then more often than not remaking the team (like im currently doing in 2s). Now taking this into account, if there are rarely any pops then this paladin must have farmed up his mmr somehow (or had it left over from a previous season) and the only reasonable answer to that is that he wintraded.

also, how is herald of the titans achievement, is it harder than it was in wotlk? or has it been made easier

Waaaaay easier. You don't even need close to BiS anymore, I farmed the justice points gear + some heroic gear and we 2shot it with quite a few having never done the boss, aswell as some using heirloom weapons. Cata scaling, with the flasks (+ mixology) is just too good. Although I don't really remember the version in wotlk being that difficult after we got epic gems and a couple patches.

Well then there's not much reason for him to be in the Achievement list then, is it? ^^
I will probably eventually add some more specific achievement related list below, like 100k+ HKs, 250k+ HKs, 200+ Cooking Recipes, Insane In The Membrane, etc.
