Resto Shams should be reconsidered.

And again, if you'd actually would posess the powers of reading comprehansion :) And sure, the screenshot basically says nothing - many agree on that. Screw and forget about the goddamn screenshot. I still stick with that I find Rshamans good at flagcarrying, and also somewhat helpful to the rest of the team.

I'm sorry you Americunts yet haven't experienced a good Rshaman.

Please point out where any USer denied that resto shamans make alright FC's or have at least marginal healing ability?

There was absolutely nothing revelatory about this thread.

Yes, there was. The thread itself was about Rshamans, how helpful they are to the team, what abilities they can use themselves of etc. To me, FC:ing is included here. The thread-title itself is "Resto Shamans should be reconsidered." - not "Resto Shamans should be considered, FC:ing excluded". And then maybe 4-5 Americunts stomped in and claimed Rshamans to be nothing but dishelpful (is that a word?) to your team.

That's like saying a Prot Warrior can't do nothing but FC, hence he isn't really useful and shouldn't be counted as a valuable team-player.

On the contrary, the thread was about showing some laughable healing meter to show that rshamans are viable.

Let me quote the original post for you real quick:

Minor proof that they are not as bad as everyone makes them out to be.

In fact, it is not minor proof of anything.

And yea, prot warriors are pretty useless outside of FCing, especially with vengeance now by the wayside.

Neither you or me know the true purpose of the thread. You think it was to show off that Rshamans did insane-33k-healing. While I think it were in more general terms, that they are in a flexible spec that offers you to flagcarry, while being able to support the other members of your team to some extent and, the they are usually looked down upon.

I just think that too many people got a wrong view of the spec.

why dont u just make a Rshaman and show us americunts how its done eh u beat that "insane 33k healing brah"

the americans are being disrespectful in the thread of what is perhaps the nicest, most friendly player i've ever met, sad. Baldi here is not only super friggin' talented, he is ALSO the most modest mofo i've met, this is not an epeen thread.
also, Dorygon before you go out and complain about the lack of "groundbreaking material," go write a relevant guide, yours was lacking.

only 3.3gb of the downloading left till i can play again xD... any pops still?? <-- offtopic but meh, now back to topic, all of u americans have taken this thread in the wrong way, this was never meant to be saying that all should be afraid of the almighty shaman because they are better than pallys, priests and droods all it is saying is that just like the discovery that locks and warriors are useful shamans have found a slight bit of worth in our bracket and if taht is fcing then so be it.

Except that the original post's screenshot had to do with healing, not FCing. And once again, no one ever denied the resto shaman's marginal healing abilities or decent FCing abilities, which were both common knowledge long before this pitiful thread was created.

a resto sham can heal decently alongside a warrior FC with high hp and high armor, if you're running a resto shaman/holy pal or priest on D the resto shaman can take a lot of pressure off the other healers so they can pull out some burst, while there constant earthshield ticks can keep there FC less pressured. + the enemy team needs to be relatively stacked on physical damage classes. with these components a resto shaman can produce good results, and a great snare when needing to kite.

i for one see restos as an AMAZING support class, but i would never classify resto shammies as "healers"

Friend, you've been a member here for two months, and a post count of 26 does not indicate a high level of activity - you probably haven't seen me make many posts at all. The fact here is, I am a shining beacon of truth, my words cutting through the murky depths that are the persistent instances of ignorance shown by those who post on these forums. That goes for both EU and US, and last time I checked, EU does not hold a monopoly on resto shaman topics. My guide is finished enough for your fellow EU admins to have promoted it from the user submitted guide section to the official guide section, so give that some thought, hm?

Cheerio!

Yes, a quick glance through your posting history shows how 'constructively' and 'meaningfully' you went through the process of finding a guild to your liking. As to not showing up in all threads to get your post count up, that's exactly what you are doing right now, since you are directing your posts at me rather than toward the topic at hand. I have been attempting a discussion on resto shamans, but it is impossible to do so when I have parasites hanging off my every post.
