Trialhunterx crit vs. agi

Sup guys, Ive been f2p twinking on and off for a few years and lurking on this forum for a while. I play 2 toons, a Dreanei hunter on vashj (Trialhunterx) and a human pally on ysondre (Grambleton) (with grandfathered furblog costume (you jelly)). I suppose this is kinda a "coming out" post

To give you guys an idea where i'm at as far as items go, Im pretty sure I have everything I need except agi recipe and +2 scope.. oh and a bit more work on 1st aid, oh and i suppose I should get another agm... I've been putting it off since I'm not human... I should be human, but I had odd plans when I made this toon and didnt think I'd get so into it.

Anyway, I figure I'll say something that may get some more response... Crit > agility at this level imo (I do not mean preference, I mean that its more dps) someone tell me how Im wrong pls

Specifically, I'm thinking for a dps set that cobrahns boots>standard issue prisoner shoes and Black wolf bracers > bands of serakis and Smelting pants > alluwens legs, and honestly, I usually role with that setup in pvp. I'm even thinking about getting really dumb with it and getting 2 stendels wedding bands... maybe

And I'd just like to end with my fav. epeen achieves, Ive got a Dark whelp pet, and a mechanical squirrel, scarlet tabard, all the neat rare/hard to obtain hunter pets, deviate delight, and ambassador. Nothing special, I know, but they make me feel cool.

What no hallowed title? Come @ me

Anyways just to clarify your talking about dps in like dungeons right?

Thanks

As far as straight DPS I would say agil > crit. This is just my opinion and TBH I've never played a hunter so I don't know how their damage tables break down.

well, I may be wrong about it being more, but I don't like it, lol. If I compare standard isssue prisoner boots to cobrahn's, (trades 4 agi for 4 crit) that ends up being 10 atp (with 2.9 speed that's 2 more wep dmg) or .74% crit.

There have not been many people whom I would have killed had I done 2 more dmg per hit (also ends up being 2 more dmg per explosive and 1 more for sting), however, there have been plenty of people that would have died had I crit them instead.

As much as it displeases me, I think the agi looks like more dps. However, I def prefer the crit. (for my offensive pvp set)
