    • Hiya lads,



    I bought an account on ebay other day for 80 sterling smackers, but new account creation est increased it to around 100-120



    It was a 70 double warglaive rogue however not entirely BiS. So my Question is, what monetary value would you put on a warglaive rogue? Did i make a profit in terms of Value?



    In terms of security, the lad lost his CD keys but gave me 'secret password' so i managed to swiftly move it onto a new Battlenet account and Getting an authenticator as we speak, am i still comprimised by a scam?

    He can easily call blizzard enter his CD key he claimed he lost and get acc back or just answer the security questions and everything will be restored
     
    All what he needs to do is send an copy of his ID to Blizzard, telling that he's hacked and want his account back. He will have it in his hands in shorter than a week.



    So have fun playing the next few days.

    PM me an Armory link^^ also if he is trying to get his account back just sell it within 2 weeks as blizzard takes that long to verify ID if not longer
     
    Its so easy to get an account back if you are the owner.

    Only way to be secure is to transfer it to fresh new cd keys. Unless the original owner calls blizzard with a made up story and blizz undo's all.

    aye thats what i've done plus got an authenticator



    I've also changed the original owners Battlenet email too



    I might actually buy another set of cd keys just to make sure its harder to get past the paper trail

    Having the real owner to give you a copy of his identity card, makes it a lot harder for him to get it back.



    Try to get your hands on that if possible.

    The acccount must be a fairy new account around 1 week - 2 week old tops

    Make up a very very viable story such as fake naming due to ... this or ...that

    I was 1st declined however, however following that post/convo support thread, i simply asked what was i to do if i get comprimised, the gm followed up by asking for a ID scan and your real name.



    After which he changed it then i moved it to my account
