Dumb question about amories

alright so every now and then i see someones armories that say someone like "18 kil'jaeden kills on ____" does that 18 mean they killed him 18 times? and if so, how? because it sucks doing it 1 time per week

This means they killed the boss 18 times in 18 different resets. They did not kill it more than once a week (unless they server transferred). 18 times = 18 weeks.
