Character is locked? o.O

  • So, I was xferring a priest alt of mine to my rogue's server (since this druid has mining\herb etc for farming) - when paying for the xfer, I accidently typed in my CVV code wrong. It happened twice, I had been talking with a foreign friend and forgot to revert my school computer's keyboard back to American. There was a popup saying the transfer couldn't be completed (since it was incorrect information), contact billing.. etc.



    So I just gave up for the the time being, logged out and went to dig through my keyboard drivers to rollback to my english settings. After doing so, I logged into the priest one last time to make sure I had cleared my mailbox \ dropped arena teams \ gquit, anything that could have interfered with the process otherwise - and I got this message, "You can not log in until the character update process you recently initiated is complete" - when I tried to go into the account settings to xfer the priest over (with my newly fixed american numbers), it read "Error, this character is locked.. please address this issue.. blah blah". However, as a test I whacked my 19 druid, and was able to progress through the process on that toon. If I try a few times to log into the priest, i get disconnected.



    This toon happens to have 3/4 my gold & haunted memento, etc, so I am rather worried about things.



    Where did I screw up? What can I do?

    This happened to me a while ago, I called their department and they told me to uninstall WoW, reinstall it, it didn't work, then they told me to use the repair, and it worked. Idk why tho
     
    I submitted a ticket, and am trying the repair tool. I'll call in the morning if things don't work out.

    Edit: repair tool reported no problems t.t Looks like this kid is waking up early to contact billing.

    I find it slightly ironic that a video game is making me wake up early on the last day of winter break.. bahaha.

    Mm, just got an email saying the error was on blizzard's part, the transaction should not have taken place due to an incorrect CVV code.



    Btw, 47 minute reply to a ticket, is that a world record or something?

    I say hershey instead of kosher because I don't like klondike bars.







    I'll just have to be more careful when I type in the info, because I really don't want to be locked out again :X
