Shadowfang?

It's definitely fake/photoshopped. Like everyone said, the black thing around the tooltip is one. Another is the fact that he states he is level 22, yet Godfrey is level 21 and his name is in GREY (which means he is much higher than level 22). And another thing which makes me doubt this is: who talks to their friend about some rare random blue drop in a DUNGEON before they actually loot the item, holds the conversation without looting the item, and then takes the screenshot (after friend informs him) without looting the item, and then FINALLY loots the item. And, as we all know, what WoW player or twink wouldn't try to get the Shadowfang off his lucky nub friend, rather than sending them to TI where the nub would get all the profit, instead of him? The friend is obviously fictitious.

1. UI replacement.

2. He says he's farming FOR his level 22, not ON his level 22.

3. He knew it was a BoE, notified his friend before looting as I would do that too.

4. His friend might not have been a ****.



Not that I don't believe this is a troll now, I'm just saying it's possible.

1) When you take a screenshot in game, the mouse cursor never, ever shows up in the screenshot. Fail.



2) Item tooltip windows are supposed to be translucent. That one is completely opaque.



3) When you mouse over an item in a loot window, as he is supposedly doing there, the icon becomes highlighted in a shade of grey, more prominently around the edges of the item. His screenshot is quite different than what actually happens in game.



4) There are actual minor black/grey bars around legit item mouseovers in a loot window, but they have flat, not pointy edges.



Also the story, although possible, is highly unlikely as many have stated.



With that said, you KNOW an item is freaking rare when someone posts a screenshot of it dropping and most people know instantly from instinct that the screenshot is fake.

Of course it is, but it's possible that it isn't.
 
if the font didnt look so differnt id maybe consider it but the font differnce on "shadowfang" compared to "odos ley staff" looks stupid

Grasping at straws if I've ever seen it. Question is: are you going to these lengths to defend a (in your opinion) potentially honest poor nub who just got lucky or are you just that afraid of being wrong?



Because in reality you're just defending a troll...

-You are correct! i used "paint" to create that photo you see here, i just wanted to see people reaction and i do appologize to those who accualy msg'ed me with offers.

Couple things easily seen in this that makes it a giveaway photoshop is no doubtably my cursor i purposely left in! Printscreen doesnt show those when it's used. Also, Take a look at the sell price, and it's durability. the real in-game SF has 29s 64copper sell price and a maximum durability of 80! These i could not fix becuase the info of the Sword on Both wowhead and WoWarmory were wrong when compareing them to real thing. I just couldnt get it to look right in paint.... wasnt that patient i suppose. though im assumming i did pretty good job.
