70 Warlock

Thoughts and feelings on how viable they are too get high with?



e.g. what spec? affi viable or? and stacking full resi or using some PvE parts etc?



Just wondering as I might reroll one got a 70 one lying around

Affliction isn't an option right now the damage isn't high enough if anything I would say Demonology is your best bet spec wise even then you're going to need gear, resilience and skill to play a warlock at level 70, personally I'd go with 4 set brutal resilience stacked then the other parts sunwell pieces with pure intellect, you're going to have a job being good at the Warlock class at level 70 though.

affliction isnt about damage, its about the retarded amount of stupid 1 button control on every person in your FOV, just so you know razzerz, even when afflic blew chunks in early s9 people still played it for the control. demos damage blows and is insanely easy to counter, destro has a little bit more control and probably overall the most damage of the three specs. If you want to be VIABLE though, you will play afflic with a priest healer and some mage/rogue peelz

The survivability with full resi is just retarded, and both aff and destro are decent speccs if played right.

I have heard a lot of people pref aff for arena,but iuno, think destro is quite good as well.

Destro is probably your best spec, The burst is really good and If you get a tazik it's a GG to almost every team.

Destro lock is a poor man's frost mage no matter which way you cut it - at least aff brings something unique to the table.

Well a destro lock has more CC than a mage...Though less burst...

Marginally more cc, for much less burst. And much less survivability.



And even then, mage cc will count for WAY more against melee.

I won't argue that warlock is better, just a nice twist.

Warlocks have a diffrent way of survivability and requires way more resi

But they do have nice utility which do make them a good class, though they are harder to play, which I think is a lot of the reason they're so rare in the bracket...

Destro is by far the best, affli is just a *** draincomp, dont think u can even kill anything on 70.

Destro has more burst, more surv, and more cc than any other spec.

Stack resi though
