I'm new to F2P but playing since vanilla. It seems there is already a healthy population of f2p twinks on Aerie Peak now, so I prefer to hangout on my old Oceanic realm Dath'Remar where I have friends and the latency is way better for me. With the growing numbers of F2P players I don't think it matters too much where you base yourself as long as you /join f2ptwink in order to meet likeminded people. Then of course, /chatlist f2ptwink to see who else is online, or use the addon provided in the f2p guide. Haven't seen anyone else join that channel of Dath yet, but if any Oceanic peeps want to start there, I'm always happy to chat! I'm Alliance side, but will get round to making some horde toons some time.

Edit, I always type ftptwink instead of f2ptwink by mistake!
I got better latency on Oceanic realm but the empty starting zone scared me![]()
btw did all your toon on Dath f2p?
wait, can you get on a brazil server or oceanic server and still que with us?

Not sure about Brazilian server but Oceanic servers can definitely join you in there but trying to get the same pop could be difficult in this populated bracket. As I understand it, last year's change to create cross-Battleground Group queuing means if we used the same Vent we could enter the same BG, but it also makes it more difficult to fluke un-grouped premades. I was a member of QQ during this change and the pops were terrible. So I guess the short answer is no, which also means Aerie Peak is the better option, providing you have p2p players to help you form groups, which clearly you do. Of course, then there's the time difference to consider. I might be on Aerie Peak wanting to pvp when most of you are sleeping, in which case I can't get into a premade anyway.
I'm pretty sure the new brazilian servers are still in the NA/LA/Oceanic server group.
I could care less about queing with alot of people, getting 2 agms on a deserted server is much more worth it.
Fair enough, but personally I see getting AGM as too much of a chore when I'd rather try lots of different class/spec combos on different servers. I'd love to try running 20s with premades. Does it happen often on AP?
