Anyway, it's winter break and I have time again to play (Never, ever, in your right mind take a full schedule & 4 independent studies).



Anyway, having come back, I have a few questions.

The point of this thread is I am capturing footage for a video, partly for my graphical arts class, more so I can tell myself I have a point to be playing WoW ^.^



1. Is there ANY server populated with enough 70-80 twinks that I could have a glimmer of hope for world PvP, moreso then the occasional gank?

2. Does anybody have a PVR to recommend? Better quality = better grade, I am willing to dump a little bit into this. My computer can only fraps and maintain ~20-25 FPS at slightly above minimum quality, which won't quite cut it for me.

3. The grade will be for editing & musical syncopation. The enjoyment will be by the players part; the teacher won't be able to tell how good or bad the skill quality is - so, what would you guys be interested in seeing? My immediate thoughts are along the lines of 1vX, solo arena, duels w/ 80-83 ish, and whatever world pvp I can scrounge up.

4. Music - I am a diehard screamo & blues fan.. but I know not many people are. I have two songs I would be very interested in using, and am looking for suggestions - feel free to post song suggestions. I am looking for roughstep or subscreamo, no rap\pop, please. Is the music alright, or too hardcore for the typical listener? I am especially interested in underground / non mainstream music.

5. I would prefer to do minimal editing, but since the class is my priority, I need to have at least some noticeable editing. Do you have any suggestions of things I can do that would be noticeable, but not so annoying?

If you haven't already, scout around for WoW vids that are more heavily editted, just to get some ideas on what you could do in regards to editting and possibly music.



I quite like the first song tbh.
 
Trust me, I've scouted around. I've probably watched every published grim, mute, neilyo, akrios, evolas, unmercey.. video to date. I know plenty of things I can include, but it seems like every notable rogue video has the same things.. I am planning to put some time into the video, and was just looking for suggestions of outside the box type things.



Also, I am glad you liked the first song. I'm gay for that band <3

I have no exp in video editing, but it sure seems like a lot of work.

Maybe it gives you some ideas or something, and for your enjoyement.

you need music that you can incorperate moods to whats going on in the game, music that you can really feel on your body when you listen to while you watch. youur two choices for songs just really dont feel that way to somebody with a more... mainstream taste.
 
Thanks for the replies. I think the music should work for what I am looking for.. I am putting emphasis on the beats, and trying to work vanish/smeld work and crits in with the time. The warlock video definitely did have some ideas, thank you <3
