since when is that a rule for premades in this game at all? i've seen several people cite this, and it's complete nonsense



if you're playing in a bracket where you have to actually enforce a "no more than 2 of each class" rule, you should probably just ban the laughably overpowered class in question that's causing that rule to be made in the first place, and then go ahead and have no other class restrictions

Typically OP is defined as what can do the most absurd damage and remain untouchable or near unscathed in the fight. That would eliminate pallys, hunters, priests, druids and shams. Sadly those are common classes in the bracket.



If you ban "OP" classes then what's left? I think people are getting "class" mixed up with "spec" because of the popularity of damage output. The reason why people use the "no more than" rule is so premades don't fill up with 10 pallys all bubbling each other, or 5 hunters backed up with 3 pally healers and 2 rogues.



If you ban specs then the premade is filled with "unviable" specs and everything sucks.[/font]

i would normally 100% agree with this, but the thing is, hunters in the 20-24 bracket are literally the most overpowered thing i have ever encountered in my entire time pvping in this game (outside of things that have been bugged or hotfixed after a brief period of time)



there's just no reason to have them in any pvp in this bracket, at all, if you're controlling who is participating
 
Hunters are a pain in the ass, there's no arguing with that. But they can be killed if you know how to handle them. It's also why the "no more than" rule is used. 6 hunters in a BG is bad enough, but in a premade? Good lord.

right, but you could get around this problem by just banning hunters outright, and then you wouldn't need the "no more than" rule at all.....see what i mean?



there's no reason why you shouldn't be able to bring say, 1 prot pally FC, 1 ret pally dps, and 1 holy pally healer to a premade just because you have a silly rule meant to deal with OP hunters, when it's not even necessary
 
It's not meant to deal with hunters specifically, it's to stop stacking. 10 pallys, 10 shams, etc.. It also allows for a bit of creative freedom when you don't know who's bringing what and who's going to be the FC.

yeah, i'm just thinking back and remembering all those unstoppable and unfair 10 paladin and 10 shaman WSG teams from my times playing this game
