I've been farming this for my 49 twink, and so far I've had no luck at all. Done about 50 runs so far. Wowhead says the chance is 0.5%, but I assume it takes all opens of the tribute chest into account and since it can only drop on a full tribute run the drop chance should be much higher, because it also says the trinket is 2% and I've seen it drop over 10 times...



Anyway, this is really getting on my nerves. Can anyone give me an estimate of how many runs it usually takes, or how many it took them to get it? Thanks!
 
took me a ton of runs. for some reason my king gordok kills werent recorded on my stats, but it took several days where i'd two box till instance cap, wait an hour and resume time after time.

so just keep goin at it and you'll have it eventually, thats just how crap rng can be. when mine finally dropped i was so pumped after that many runs

Just keep running it. It will drop... eventually. At least that's what I had to keep telling myself when I was Drakestone farming back in the day.
 
Ye i had fun farming shadowfang in cata also..



Eventually you'll get it..



Only took around 200 runs..



Remember to use a faction tabard!

Thats just luck though hahah, most would run thousands and get no SF or AB, but yea just keep running it and you'll see it drop. Farming is awful
 
Woah shit... lol I thought that axe was 100% if no bosses go down in your run, got it on my 70 twink priest

Did around 36 runs on my 49.



Decided to do it for fun on my 85 to get the suit, Treants Bane drops.

Dropped on the 60th tribute run, 3 runs after my friend got back from a holiday >.<

Can't wait to try it out!

It's been around for awhile, but the boa axe is about the same so not many people go thru the trouble of farming full dm tribute runs vs getting a boa
