I thought I'd put up a couple of resources that have helped me tremendously with gear/weapon choices for my transmog ... if you have any other good ones, let me know.

A couple of tips:



1) If you find a look you like for one piece of armor, but the color doesn't quite match one you like from another piece, use wowheads "same model as" tab

2) same goes for weapons

I'm a big fan of the addon known as Mogit. Allows you to search for gear by level or color, build wishlists, where gear comes from, and wear it all in the dressing room. Also when you mouseover an item it gives a quick popup window. As an enchanter it's saved me from D/E gear that had a unique look, and when browsing say the AH it's very quick to see what items look like.

I just found out about Mogit yesterday. While the pan and zoom mouse functions aren't intuitive to me, the rest of the mod is absolutely fantastic. It would have saved me hours of website trawling if I had had the mod this last weekend. The sites are but, but gads, thank you Mogit!

Yeah, I love it. It's due to Mogit that I found the set that my 85 gnome rogue uses. It's all druid gear but she looks like some kind of forest pixie, it's super cute. Bushes for shoulders and antlers for a helmet.

But yeah, came up with the idea just by scrolling through Mogit. Same with finding the gear for my hunter and her boa's. Didn't go for a specific armor set, more for a unique look.



Also if you didn't notice, you can adjust the filter to show level 1-85 things for mogging your boa's. Assuming that's still possible.
