Note: That health displayed above is with a Rumsey Rum Black Label, Power word fortitude, and blessing of kings with a battle standard down.



I am planning on getting around 3.6k with the same buffs as the picture.

armour/resi > hp imo. but ofc keep like 2.5k ish hp with like 55% dmg reduc from armor and some from resi. you'll be close to unkillable if you spec holy.

I'm already geared for prot, I'm staying prot. Hence the name.

I have a 50% armor reduction right now, that's not counting the 8% dodge, 10% parry, and 5% block. Plus I'm getting an 110 armor enchant (I think it's 110 at least) on my cloak. That should bring me to around 53-55%

Once I get the second arena grandmaster, I'm getting 225 mining for the stamina bonus. After that I'm farming gnomeregan for 2 Charged gears of Stamina.

Stamina is more for intimidation for me. If you scare them off, they won't do damage to you either.

I'm gearing up a prot pala but have half a mind to gear to have substantial mana pool too , whats your experience with prot palas stacking intel where they can without gimping yourself too much ?

Do you find yourself wishing you had more mana sometimes in BGs , or do you find yourself accompanied by healer most the time?

some very poor gear choices, you're not hitcapped yet speccing into improved HoJ?

personally i would run with the strengthened stockade pauldrons as resil trumps parry if you're FCing, there's gloves with the same stats but extra armour which i'm sure you're aware of, enchant boots with minor speed as 7stam < an increase in speed esp if your FCin, buy 2 pairs enchanted with both

also if you have access go for the BoA tanking cloak or possibly the parachute cloak with +12 dodge as options

grab another AGM as the rune of duty is pretty bad...i would also strongly consider the inherited insignia of the alliance as that amount of resil is comparable if not better than 12stam

OK otherwise...try not to blow out on health as you are sacrificing other stats which is costly, you'll find you can probably push your armour up to 50% + if you do this

Anyone could have got that back in the day with every buff possible, not impressive. On a different note Amplify/protectoin you should join <EPlC>
