Rogue Profession Help!

Hey there,



Recently got my Rogue to 70 and spent alot of gold releveling engineering, I got tazik (I know synapse is better but this will do in the mean time) and I've got 1.3k gold left.



I really don't want to go out of my way making money, but I do want to level my profession.



Any suggestions? I want to get it to 450 of course, but what is most beneficial to rogues, and what would potentially be most beneficial.

Was thinking herbilism are the herb prices are pretty good on my realm. but is the haste from herb better than the crit from skinning? Or maybe the stamina from mining may help?

Congratulations on getting your tazik

Non gathering professions are better, such as JC/alch. On my realm JC was about 4k gold.



But seeing as you don't have much cash at the moment I'd probably go with skinning, not sure about your realm, but on mine WotLK cooking ingriedients are worth a fair bit on AH, so you can make cash from food+leather by killing/skinning.



Not sure which proff is better in terms of stats out of haste, crit or stam.. but I'd say crit is nonetheless.

If u want to sped some time u can tale mining, farm mats for JWC, sell some more bars for golds and thne drop mining for JWC for example that's the best 2° profession for all the twinks.

That's what i did with my mage. Farming while u're in queue for bgs is not so bad in the end

If u dont want...well all gathering profession are quite useless for rogues, since u dont need more hp ( mining ) u dont need crit since if u're well geared u have more then 50% crit ( LW ) and haste is not so important since u can delete everyone during a shadowdance. So my suggestion is to farm mats for JWC for some extra agility

LW if your server is good for leather, lvled 1-450 for 989g from buying mats from trade and asking guildies.
