Some of you will have undoubtedly noticed some of the forum sections have disappeared. You can stop panicking, the posts in them are not gone, just moved. We decided that various sections should go because they were not receiving as much traffic as other forums. It benefits nobody if you create a thread in a forum that isn't visited particularly frequently and it makes our job more tiresome if people are creating those threads in the wrong forums because the original ones aren't popular enough.



To find out where the threads that were in these sections just check below.



UI & Addons -> General Twinks

Twink PvE Discussion -> General Twinks

Art & Comics -> The Tavern

Rate a Twink -> General Twinks

Video Discussion -> General Twinks



We have also had a slight reshuffle of the order of the forums in the General Forums section, but you should have no difficulty finding the remaining sections.

Agreed I still think this should be in it's own section as it very specific versus other General Twink discussion. As in, it specifically is seeking feedback/advice and not normal everyday twink discussion.
 
Video discussion --> Whatever bracket it is relevant to makes more sense.
 
i have brought this up before when TI was under different management and hosted on a other site:



consider renaming forums to accurately reflect the brackets as they are currently played.



30-39 into 35-39

40-49 into 45-49

50-59 into 55-59

60-69 into 60-64

70-79 into 70-74



changes were made on 20-29 bracket into 20-24 and 25-29, yet others skipped



people do come to this site, although they may not throughly read threads, build twinks to later find out there is no activity for what they have done. in the last month i have run into 3 players who built 69's and 79's to find out they are worthless. also have run into players at gurabashi arena who where in their low 30's getting ready to build 34 twinks. thinking they would have a heads up on 30's like 24's do 20's.

The 20-29 forum was changed because both the 24's and the 29's are pretty active in their own right, whereas the other forums are low in discussion. If we changed the forum layout to as you described we would either have to create 5 new forums which would get very low traffic, not have a forum for the 30-34, 40-44 etc or stick all the new forums into one big "Other Brackets" forum. None of these are attractive to me. Low traffic forums are bad, that was the reason for this latest change, so the first option is out; Not hosting the brackets is also unacceptable, we are a twink forum so it is imperative that we do, and lastly putting them all in a new "other brackets" forum would not solve anything but make it more messy and difficult to find.



If individual brackets become busy enough that they need their own distinct forums then I will be very happy to implement them, but I will only consider it on case by case basis, I don't want to introduce sweeping changes for the sake of conformity.

Ideally this is what would have happened, but there were too many threads in that section for that to be feasible.
 
not asking for new forums, still don't understand why for example: 30-39....just can't be renamed to 35-39?
 
It's a good question, Shanker. The answer Kore gave shows itself in a couple of different forums. The 50-59 forum houses a little discussion every now and then on both the potential 50-54 bracket and the currently dead 55-59 bracket. One forum is fine for both of those. Same for the 60-69 forum that occasionally sees questions about the defunct 69 bracket. Splitting these off into separate forums with no traffic will only clutter up the forum listings. Until these forums reach the kind of traffic that the 20-29 forum got when two brackets churned out a lot of material, keeping the other forums together makes for the cleanest interface. To be sure, it does irk me every time I see a forum titled "x0-x9 Bracket", since no such brackets exist anymore. ...Maybe rename those particular forums as "Forums", instead of Brackets? I know that's a nitpick, but it would be more up-to-date.
