Pala - Horde or Alliance

So i've decided to roll a 10 paladin since i'm bored as hell waiting for SWTOR

So should i go alliance or Horde..



I wanna know from a itemwise point of view!

alliance has BiS belt, boots, shield (minus cadets of blocking) and horde has BiS ring basically. but 2x the one rings arent bad at all. especially sine you can get more hit / crit from alliance quest rewards

Belt or Boots. Since those two BiS pieces are from the same quest.



But yeah, go alliance. Especially for a paladin, you can basically get almost BiS without GF appart from the RFC legs if you go Ally, so do it.

alliance also has Harvester boots Bank, which grant 2 crit rating. i'd use these over brackwater for holy, probably not ret or Prot however

I don't really want to create a new thread and make more spam, but would anyone have a chardev for a level 10 frost mage, and an 10 arcane mage (probably mostly crit)?

Considering how Holy spec is the only spec that may run you OOM, you might want to consider some Int/Spirit BoE mail boots too (Spirit for the JotP points)

Can any1 wowhead link these items that you say is BIS..

Cause i really have no idea which items it is

and when i look at people's armory's i see different gear all the time.

The reason you are more likely to go oom as holy paly are several reasons.

For one, you focus on mana using abilities (Holy shock and holy light)



The second reason is that:



Retribution spec gives: Judgement of the Bold

Protection spec gives: Judgement of the Wise



So holy with alot of mana using abilities and no judgement req.

Ofc Holy gets Meditation but its not even nearly as good, unless you really stack up on spirit, at the cost of other stats.



Conclusion: Yes you're less likely to go oom as prot (That is in normal fighting conditions)
