BOAs for warlocks?

Wouldn't roll a 16 lock, the resilience on BoAs are lower the lower level you are, so the scaling wont be much better.

If you're affli, pvp shoulders.

If you're destro, use w/e you prefer. Personally I would use pve ones.

As for BoA's, get both shoulders and both staffs. Switch them out depending on whether you have heals and whether or not you are getting focused hard. You will need some extra switch-out gear to supplement this so that you can reach the hit cap efficiently.

As for a 16 lock, no, you definitely want to be 19.

Here are my chardevs that I recommend for each set, not taking faction switches in to account and assuming alliance. If you are horde, then a couple of the survivability pieces need to be changed.

http://chardev.org/?profile=283982 for survivability

http://chardev.org/?profile=283983 for dps

If you are aff, then you can switch out the 16sp on gloves for 20shadow.

#1 2nd ring for alliance if going for a balanced survivability set

thanks for the good feedback. im currently rocking your survival set dori, and trying to figure out a proff, which i guess would be either mining or engineering (got herbalism already). i know most of you would prolly recomend mining, but locks obviously lack CCs so i thought engineer would spice it up a litle. imo the lack of CCs is our only flaw. so is mining really worth it?

bomb into fear could be quite useful in the gulch.

If you are actually going to use bombs, then go engi. If not, then I'd personally recommend mining over skinning.

As Augi said, bomb in to fear is really useful.

I can understand the stamana but I wouldnt feel right using a ring with agility lol. Tbh Id prefer another argas or something. May miss out on a couple stam but at least the ring looks like it belongs there lol.

Yea, it definitely feels weird at first, but I guarantee that there is nothing better for a 2nd ring slot for survivability if you're an alliance lock and haven't (and will not) do any faction changes.

true because of the stamina and hit

Well i would def. say GSoJ and pvp shoulders... uhm and rock mining/skinning for sure personally i made a macro to make it use my lifeblood right before i UA just for more pressure such as using DS at 85 to provide more pressure. Hope this helps!

also if you have additional questions i am Twinklin Korgath Alliance

Once again thanks for the great feedback, i think i might snatch engineering anyway, as i really think it could help compensate the lack of CCs.

Yeah eng does help for peels but Poly/Fear being the only spammable CCs locks are alright on CCs if they don't get tunneled too hard
