I talk to the npc at the island so I can get it but it does not give me that option. Is it bugged? I cant even find the npc that starts the quest in Ogrimmar?

The Quest starter in Og stands on the Flight Master platfrom, about in the middle between the two zeppelin towers (belf with green robe & hat).



You should be able to get the Guide form the greeter near the teleport spot in Mulgore/Elwynn, the Quest 'bugged' on my Horde toons, too (my Ally had done the Welcome Quest in previous incarantion, too, but could do it again). You ask what the Guide is, and then an option to get a new copy will be given.

You did the welcome quest, getting 5 new tickets even though you completed the old one? Where did it start?

He did the welcome quest in old dmf. I did the same. The npc who gives you adventures guide is in mulgore before you go in dmf. http://www.wowhead.com/npc=55396 is the guy you are looking for.

It's not bugged on Ally? No fair, i'd done the welcome quest last time and it wasn't available this time and the tickets are now useless. Hmph

I've done the welcome quest before on ally and haven't been able to even find the quest giver in IF. I noticed he was only there when the DMF was in Elwynn, but not Shat. I can't remember if he was there for Mulgore.



Edit: Tested out on a new character, and it's the DMF NPCs in the cities that port you to the staging area that offer the quest. Of course it didn't offer me the quest.

The one I could pick up was in Stormwind, the NPC was taking a stroll in Mage Quarter going to Trade near the AH, where she has remained since (I picked them up somewhat after midnight last Saturday/right after the Faire started).
