transmog qustion - worth trying?

I plan on ending up in BH, but my main is on KT and I want to transmog into higher lvl gear. So, if I take my char to KT, transmog, then go to BH, will it be worth it? Does anyone think it will be GF or fixed? Opinions or facts accepted. Thanks
