Disc vs Holy

Hey,

I wish to make a 19 belf priest, but I was just wondering wich talent is the best for pug healing, disc or holy?
 
Just depends on your playstyle. Overall I think I prefer holy because I play more aggressive and stick with O healing mostly. As a BE between chastise, arcane torrent and fear you can cc d healers so very well

At the same time youll find yourself oom quicker than disc and more often. So if you mainly like D healing which youll do most of the time in pugs unless your me and dont care and go O anyway, then Id say go disc for the mana. Ill stick to my holy

Both are viable, I think it is mostly preference. I was disc then switched to holy and like it. Chastise is must more useful then some people thinik.

offensive (attacking efc or enemy flag carrier) defensive (defending fc or flag carrier )
 
Huge debate - I prefer disc though holy is a fantastic spec. I just can't seem to give up being able to burst down a mage or lock with holy fire penance mind blast after I meld a poly/fear.

What about enchant on my 1h?
 
I was specc'd into divine fury for a while as holy and it was pretty ridiculous. I was able to melt people pretty quickly.
 
anyone getting these ads popping up from this site now? Just started happening today.
 
I prefer Disc, and believe it to be the superior spec once played well enough.



edit- Oh umm, 22int to weapon is your chant.
 
I honestly think its up to you. I was told to play holy, but I prefer playing disc. I will probably change back and forth *still because chastise is a lot of fun + increased heals... but I find that penance can be that one heal that is needed to save fc etc when two rogues pop out of stealth (or what have you.)



Both specs are good.



My advice, play them both, you might switch back and forth a couple times before you find one that suits your play style.
