    • So I've been trying for the past week or so to get the AGM token, and at all times as well. I've tried 12am, 3am, 6am and everytime there seems to be an 85 or even a 24-29 waiting to serve my ass back to me on a silver platter.



    I'm just wondering if there are any 85s on AP alliance that help out f2p'ers with this. I'm not in any way whining about it being hard, i know it's hard and I'm going to continue to grind it. Been a week still no sight of the opening bar past 80%

    Any of you other f2p'ers have the AGM? Been grinding endlessly for the hopeless cause that is the AGM trinket?



    BTW love when the 85s add insult to injury as i frantically try to run for my life after the box is opened and I've died 6+ times, and a warrior or a rogue charges me causing me to have to endure a 2 minute spawn time.... like really... your a douche, you may be better but in the end I'm the one who wins by not having to pay 15 bucks and still enjoying this game.
     
    There are a few APers with two AGMs, but most will struggle to get one. The competition, as you've noticed, is just too high. It's not impossible, but it's much more difficult han most servers because it's high pop and high twink pop.



    As for dying six times, and incurring the res timer, don't? Wait until you're deflagged. If the chest is already taken there is no point wasting time expecting people not to be cheap.



    In getting mine I had many epic battles with 19s, fellow F2Ps, and 30s levelers. Of course there were also 85s achievement whoring. I found it a good place to meet people too. Not all of them are corpse camping pricks. Some even helped me get the trinkets. You'll struggle to find people wanting to help randoms they don't know by asking here, but get to know people, and you'll probably find someone willing to help.



    Just go to as many as you can, and you'll get it eventually.

    Keep talking ravencrest EU 10-20 players all the time, i got 4 AGMs fully done my self i had between 15-30 85s to help me every single time most of the time however the chest just dissaperead after 25 min or so. So keep talking that Aerie Peak is the only one, Ravencrest Locked PVP server GG.

    Thanks for the info and the reason I die 6 times is because I've been trying to ninja it. Die, wait in spirit form right outside box till hopefully no ones looking, rez, attempt to open it. Die again. The way they kill me as i run is once you exit the arena your still flagged for pvp for about 20 seconds and they follow me out

    Just tried at 12 and there was a sweet mage vs balance druid and rogue battle and the mage was full ruthless... needless to say he proceeded to murder them both, take the chest, then T-bag them.
     
    Easy on my rogue, when especially when theres other people lol, They kill each other I ambush who ever is left and take.
     
    i've had some surprising success at 6pm server time (medium pop server, but still surprising).



    ...and what someone else said about a good op to meet people who can later help you. probably the best spot in the game imo.

    Don't be a douche he didn't say on ALL servers that aren't aerie peak everyone fucking knows that on high pop PVP servers its going to be a bitch.



    As for my AGM I have on frostwolf I was able to walk in and loot it at my leisure every time.

    At one point I arrived at the arena 50 minutes late and it was still there unlooted.



    As far as getting it on AP my personal belief is that if you are NOT best in slot then you should help one of our community (horde or alli) try and get it.



    Even though I am near BiS on my druid I hardly ever try for the chest myself rather, I log on to horde and ask if anyone would like some help.



    This may not be your style but biding your time and building friendships may yield better results then getting constantly ass raped by better geared/85 Characters.
     
    Just watch out for the smart 85s who dance around the chest.



    Making ghosting it next to impossible but I've only seen it happen like once xD
     
    Thanks a lot guys, as for me being BiS i am nearly i just need the neck, back and belt which drop from the loot bag and i am working on ench and mining grinding matts.

    I mean full best in slot. BOA's Not the best in slot that takes 3 days of dungeons to achieve.



    Again just my opinion but if your going for AGM at least make it apparent you have put time and effort into getting his other gear. NOT running a few quests and dungeons.



    Again my opinion if you disagree good for you

    I understand what your saying. I've noticed most of the f2p twinks with heirlooms don't even show up. It's usually p2p 10s, 19s, 29s, that come with their guild buddies. There's usually 2-3 f2p's at peak times. Although i have seen an 85 that was helping a 19... until he had just about opened the box then the 85 killed him and took it, made me laugh.

    I usually just wait around at the arena or at goldshire while i wait for a bg to pop and if I'm not in something at 12, 3, 6 or so ill go give it a try.



    Currently getting pretty close to my BoA shoulders.
     
    Just know this, if you want it you will eventually get it.

    Luckily I was able to get six am trinkets (solo) and then had anonymous help from an 85 and another 85 from different faction. I did not even talk to them they were just kind enough to help. Took two weeks and I would have an alarm waking me up at 12, 3, 6 am. Basically every time the chest dropped I was there in the mist of warring 85s. Helped another 19twink (before I got mines) so that there would be no future conflict and he ended not repaying the favor.
     
    It took me about a month to get mine and I would say I had a success rate of about 5% per attempt. It went a lot faster towards the end because I teamed up with Monkman and Loco, so I strongly recommend an AGM buddy or team. The best times IMO are 3am, 6am, 9am and 12pm server time (pst) but going as often as you can is important too. 2 or 3 of my trinkets came from peak hours and I was able to ninja the trinket away.



    Just keep at it if you really want it, it's probably the worst grind for F2P on AP.
