Looking at the Warlock abilities:



All specs lose Rain of Fire.

On the positive side Curse of Weakness has been combined with Curse of Tongues so we will have that.



We get to choose between 3 talents...YAY FOR GREATER CUSTOMIZATION....

Dark Regeneration - 3 min cd regen 50% health and increase healing received by 25% over 20 sec...horrible.

Soul Leech - Shadow bolt heals for 15% of damage dealt...horrible.

Harvest of Life - AOE drain life - default talent choice as far as I can tell sounds like it might be strong.



AFFLICTION:



No Bane of Doom, and we dont get Bane of Agony until lvl 36...ouch. This is the only spec that uses Soul Shards/Soul Burn/Drain Soul if I understand correctly.



DEMONOLOGY:



Get Metamorphosis and Demonic Leap. Looks like a pretty sweet buff to this tree making it way more fun to play.



DESTRUCTION:



Gets nothing new as far as I can tell.
 
God this expansion looks horrible for f2ps. Basically rogues and hunters got buffed and everything else that Ive looked at looks gibbed.

Low level warriors get combat charge, it's big buff. Locks also got metamorphis and rogues getting nerfed, i don't know how you looked those talents but after all they might change.

Did they alter standard Charge/have the abilities additonal effects?



Because going by the calculator, e.g. Warbringer will root the target for 5 secs (nice ofc) , Hamstring will be off to the deep thirties and no of the various Specs seem to have an ability that flat-out says 'Charge is usable while in combat' etc. (nor the Talents).



Frankly I don't see anything going for this (yet another) Talent change, if Bashiok et al. get bored so easily by consistent gameplay perhaps they should stick to consoles.

They removed "Cannot be used in combat" off the tooltip + e.g. double time only makes real sense when charge is usable everytime.



But we should be aware that there will be a lot of changes coming.

i am not on your page with this. if dark regen is an incombat thing it is a strong free heal every 3 mins - isnt that great?



shadowbolt-heal could be useful as well - as long as there is any spec that allows you to spam SB



but the last one really seems senseless: you need around 5-7 people within 20 yd to make the spell effective. but within such a crowd, you wont live long anyways in my eyes...

I cant see the point of rogues get buffed when they lose shadowstep (actually the best talent they have considering dps output/positioning/short CD) and sprint (the only way to deal with slowing effect without using trinket/racials against ranged dps). Edited: gouge and backstab are gone too...



At a first look, all the FTPs classes will be upset... I just cant find the correct words to explain it but the talents doesnt seem that much enjoyable, will see.

well its just my opinions from reading the skills hard to know how they will actually play without it going live and getting a feel for it, but my lock has 1400 hp so 700 hp/20 is 35 health per sec, I feel like that isnt really going to keep u alive from getting bursted, and the cooldown is kind of long.

What spec would that be? if i got healed right now for 105 hp everytime i shadowbolted somebody it would probably amount to about 500 hp at the end of a bg. this one just seems like a drop in a bucket to me.

hard for me to estimate how much dmg this will do/how much life it will provide but like I said it seems to me it MIGHT be strong in certain situations.



none of them are really that appealing IMO especially in comparison to some of the really powerful seeming talents that other classes will get at this level.
