Penance non-crits totally hits for the same amount as a mindblast crit without orbs.



And it takes more than 2 penance cd's to gain 3 shadow orbs.



Disc is better, because as shadow you will not be healing.



You say you will, but trust me you wont. Shadow is a funnier spec tho.

Disc does higher damage, I still prefer shadow when I play offensive priest though. On shpriest I use haste belt and cloak, rest stack crit and int/sp (eg http://www.wowhead.c...rators-slippers / http://www.wowhead.com/item=53428 over http://www.wowhead.com/item=4320 for most sets). On gloves I use +20 shp, +10 haste/ +16 sp is debatable I think.

There seems to be a misunderstanding about healing on a shpriest in my opinion. If someone in your surrounding goes low it's all to simple to cast a renew (+shield if you're the only priest, if there's allso an other priest let them shield as yours is weaker) or a Flash Heal. Heals on shpriest are not as powerfull as the other 2 specs but are definately worth using. Simply said; loosing a team mate means loosing a good amount of dps, so heal.

i just like getting one shot by your 3-orb crits, i'm not fishing for flatter

dps has shadow, guys just rage that you won't heal bot them has disc *cough phonebook* also disci's are to common imo.
