several reasons. there was already a thread about this. i want a laptop to game on at work. i have 2 desktops at home.



i already know alienware is just fancy packaging, but i got a corporate discount and no interest for a yr with dell so i made the choice.



i expect this laptop to last a good while. i know i could have saved money but i like what i got.
