KINCAIDE. GET THIS THROUGH YOUR SKULL. YOU CAN BE TERRIBLE, BUT STILL PLAY AN ALLIANCE HUNTER WITH 1700 HP AND DOMINATE.

You guys are just bad. Catch them off guard, pin them with Piercing, and you have a dead hunter.

Just for fun, I decided to make horde and alliance hunters in Chardev.
Horde Hunter: http://chardev.org/?profile=280592
Alliance Hunter: http://chardev.org/?profile=280594
So the difference between an alliance and horde hunter before talents is 2.7 DPS, 70 hit points, 3.14% crit and 38 attack power.
I gave each hunter a BOA chest because that's what the horde hunter needed to reach the hit cap. The alliance hunter obviously got the crit BOA. Everything else is easily obtainable dungeon/starter PvP gear.
I gave the horde hunter Flying Tiger Goggles since anyone can get those without much effort. If the horde hunter has Lucky Fishing Hat, then he'll end up having 40 more hit points than the alliance hunter.
Neither hunter has a belt or cloak because you can't add stats to random loot in Chardev.
Differences in shoulder, ring and legging slots to reflect differences in obtainable quest gear.
Overall, a smaller difference than I thought it would be.
Neither of those are BiS and you can add stats to satchel loot. L2 chardev. Let me pull up some armories for you.
Your chardevs were horrible.

That is real BiS
Differences:
+260 HP
+1.2 dps
+ .8% crit
+ 1.1% dodge
And a few other minor things such as armor value. worth mentioning horde requires an extremely rare BoE blue item and a lucky fishing hat. Alliance gear is all very easily obtainable.
I geared them BiS.
Hunter gearing is more flexible than that. It's worth going heavier on stamina as survival since it has such a good stamina modifier.
Here's your horde template modified for more stamina: http://chardev.org/?profile=280618
Here's your alliance template minus the second Arena Grand Master trinket: http://chardev.org/?profile=280619
Both hunters now have the same hit points. The alliance hunter has a 44 attack power and 3.44% crit advantage. The horde hunter has .93% more hit, but that only comes into play against 24s.
At this point, I'm just randomly picking and choosing based on what's in the sticky. I could probably come up with even more finely tweaked builds if I put time into planning a hunter.
The point I'm trying to make is that the gear difference between alliance and horde isn't as big as some people would have everyone believe. Alliance has the advantage, yes, but it's not an insurmountable advantage by any means.
