A wonderfull day in WSG premading....

KINCAIDE. GET THIS THROUGH YOUR SKULL. YOU CAN BE TERRIBLE, BUT STILL PLAY AN ALLIANCE HUNTER WITH 1700 HP AND DOMINATE.

I dont know what that has to do with this topic, so I'll assume that you're just being your usual attack-dog mentality. Your statement is not in any way related to anything I said in my post in any form whatsoever.

What my post said, again, was that your horde friends (some of them) seem to be freaking out because it appeared to them that 6 AP hunters deliberately got together to premake a hunter hit squad. and questioned the morality of such a tactic (your own word was "pathetic"), when in fact we only randomly queue together and no forethought went into premaking a deliberate hunter group.

Seems like you are so hell-bent to try to make me look bad, that the instant you see my name you overreact and throw out a drama-queen post like the one above and "answer" something that I never even said, LOL. Wow, Earl, I mean seriously. Get over it.

These alliance 'premades' aren't using Vent and don't communicate with each other at all. It's just a group of people who may or may not know each other queueing at the same time or using Groupmaker whenever it's online (it hasn't been online in days). In fact, I've only seen a 'countdown' premade once. Alliance is dead as a doornail on AP. You guys should know that by now. They have half the player base, at best, and none of the P2Ps to do all of the fun stuff that you guys do.

Just for fun, I decided to make horde and alliance hunters in Chardev.

Horde Hunter: http://chardev.org/?profile=280592

Alliance Hunter: http://chardev.org/?profile=280594

So the difference between an alliance and horde hunter before talents is 2.7 DPS, 70 hit points, 3.14% crit and 38 attack power.

I gave each hunter a BOA chest because that's what the horde hunter needed to reach the hit cap. The alliance hunter obviously got the crit BOA. Everything else is easily obtainable dungeon/starter PvP gear.

I gave the horde hunter Flying Tiger Goggles since anyone can get those without much effort. If the horde hunter has Lucky Fishing Hat, then he'll end up having 40 more hit points than the alliance hunter.

Neither hunter has a belt or cloak because you can't add stats to random loot in Chardev.

Differences in shoulder, ring and legging slots to reflect differences in obtainable quest gear.

Overall, a smaller difference than I thought it would be.

First off, I never said playing horde hunter takes skill. Secondly, Kin, you're not a victim, so stop acting like one. You have expressed to me, and on this forum that it is contradictory to say that there are a lot of baddies on alliance, yet they still steamroll due to massive gear advantages and class balance. I have tried to explain this to you many times, and yet you always ignore what I say and spout this nonsense. BTW Golden, he's not a girl, he's an old man.

Neither of those are BiS and you can add stats to satchel loot. L2 chardev. Let me pull up some armories for you.

The problem with pulling up armories is that each player might make different gear choices.

What I did was take preference out of the equation and boil it down to hard numbers.

Your chardevs were horrible.

http://chardev.org/?profile=280600

http://chardev.org/?profile=280599

That is real BiS

Differences:

+260 HP

+16 AP (will be even more with aspect of the hawk and hunters mark due to scaling)

+1.2 dps

+ .8% crit

+ 1.1% dodge

And a few other minor things such as armor value. worth mentioning horde requires an extremely rare BoE blue item and a lucky fishing hat. Alliance gear is all very easily obtainable.

This is what I was trying to avoid by gearing both characters as equally as possible.

You geared for crit/attack power over stam on your horde toon, which narrowed the crit/attack power gap to .90% crit/16 attack power but widened the hit point gap to 260.

In other words, 6 one way, half a dozen the other.

Edit: You also gave the alliance hunter two Arena Grand Master trinkets. This makes the assumption that every alliance hunter is human, which isn't the case, and further skews the results. Removing the second trinket narrows the hit point gap to 120.

Stop fighting in this thread please, take it to PM's.

Love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love.

There's nothing you can do that can't be done.

Nothing you can sing that can't be sung.

Nothing you can say but you can learn how to play the game

It's easy.

There's nothing you can make that can't be made.

No one you can save that can't be saved.

Nothing you can do but you can learn how to be you

in time - It's easy.

All you need is love, all you need is love,

All you need is love, love, love is all you need.

Love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love.

All you need is love, all you need is love,

All you need is love, love, love is all you need.

There's nothing you can know that isn't known.

Nothing you can see that isn't shown.

Nowhere you can be that isn't where you're meant to be.

It's easy.

All you need is love, all you need is love,

All you need is love, love, love is all you need.

All you need is love (all together now)

All you need is love (everybody)

All you need is love, love, love is all you need.

I geared them BiS.

Hunter gearing is more flexible than that. It's worth going heavier on stamina as survival since it has such a good stamina modifier.

Here's your horde template modified for more stamina: http://chardev.org/?profile=280618

Here's your alliance template minus the second Arena Grand Master trinket: http://chardev.org/?profile=280619

Both hunters now have the same hit points. The alliance hunter has a 44 attack power and 3.44% crit advantage. The horde hunter has .93% more hit, but that only comes into play against 24s.

At this point, I'm just randomly picking and choosing based on what's in the sticky. I could probably come up with even more finely tweaked builds if I put time into planning a hunter.

The point I'm trying to make is that the gear difference between alliance and horde isn't as big as some people would have everyone believe. Alliance has the advantage, yes, but it's not an insurmountable advantage by any means.

Yes, by picking and choosing gear you can make a certain stat more similar between factions. But, you're pushing aside the fact that no matter what you do, the alliance side will have a massive advatage in the stat the horde character chooses not to stack.

Closing this thread because this isn't what it was meant for. I thought it pretty funny and just wanted to share this with the community. I only wanted people to think about the idea of this event. However, it seems that ain't possible anymore without all the crap around it. Its still a game. Everyone knows Alliance Hunters are just pathetic to play. We don't need to bitch around that

Edit: Can't close anymore? Lol.
