F2P Shaman solo SFK

Deadvulcano

Legend
World first F2P level 20 shaman named Elëmënt to solo Shadowfang Keep in its entirety
<

I finally received the honor heirloom shoulders on my shaman and decided to try them out in Shadowfang Keep.

I was a little disappointed. Much like the previous attempts at dungeons every "beatable" boss went down on the first atttempt. Elëmënt breezed through everything. At least until he met Lord Godfrey.

Lord Godfrey was the first boss that didn't fall to my initial strat. This fight was by far the most rewarding encounter I've experienced in F2P PvE thus far.

I highly recommend this for fellow shaman out there.

Lok'tar Ogar!

Video is completed and uploading now. This is the first video that I've done where I am mostly satisfied with the result. I think there was a small issue with the mixer volume for a few samples near the beginning, but it seems to fit well enough.

Now to wait and see what youtube does with the quailty.

Congratulations! Perhaps this makes the lvl 21 gambit come closer, too

How long did the full run (ie including the other Dungeon denizens) take, btw?

Ehhh thirk i think is thinking about getting to 22 by using wsg weekend..idk i forgot the original plan. All in all pro dead

I initially skipped Silverlaine and planned to come back after Lord Godfrey... at least until Lord Godfrey killed me a few times. I went back to Silverlaine and killed him on the first attempt. I didn't know that an add would stun me which was a little nerve racking for a bit. But for perspective, Lord Godfrey took double digit attempts.

You can make many mistakes on Silverlaine, but Lord Godfrey allows no more than about 1 mistake per minute include global mistakes, positioning, etc. I tried 3 different strats on Lord Godfrey before I settled on the one you see in the vid... Shouldn't take too many attempts if you follow that strat. The vid shows near perfect execution for this fight. No pots, food, or outside buffs were used.

I had a continuation of the RP walk straight up to Lord Godfrey, but it ended at my initial strat location near the bottom of the stairs. There are a number of reasons why Lord Godfrey is harder, but I'll leave the rest of those reasons for other adventurers to discover.

About 90 minutes for the whole run. (Includes some RP shots that didn't make it to the final vid)

Very nice, not an easy thing to do.
