  • Hello id like to get a armory or chardev on a level 60 mage twink.. What is the best spec? I know how to play Frost and arcane.

"I know how" implies that playing either of the two are difficult.

I lol'd @ that one - can't help you much in the form of an armory/chardev tho. GL

Here's something I put together to use as a starting point: http://chardev.org/?profile=275020

The neck, cloak, chest, gloves, belt, pants, wand, and are hands-down BiS. For the rest you have some options.

Helm: If you're an engineer it's the goggles in the profile, no contest. If you're not an engineer you'll want the Enigma Circlet, Mish'Undare, or the PvP helm if you're going for a set bonus.

Shoulders: If not the PvP shoulders than Enigma Shoulderpads if you want a little more SP at the cost of Stam.

Wrists: The ones in the profile or Bracers of Arcane Accuracy if you want the extra hit.

Boots: What's in the profile if you're an engineer, otherwise Enigma Boots or the PvP boots.

Rings: Generally you'll want to use the PvP rings in the profile because of the sockets, but if you're looking for maximum damage you want Ring of the Fallen God and Ritssyn's Ring of Chaos.

Trinkets: If you're both an Engineer and a gnome then you can use Noise Machines and Sonic Boosters. Otherwise Neltharion's Tear is one of your BiS trinkets. For your other trinket slot you have the one in the profile, Rejuvenating Gem, the PvP trinket (if you're not human), Goblin Rocket Launcher for engineers, or Mind Quickening Gem.

Weapons: Personally I think the Staff of the Shadow Flame I put in the profile is the best overall weapon available. Other choices are Sharpened Silithid Femur/PvP dagger + Royal Scepter of Vek'lor, The Blessed Qiraji Acolyte Staff, or the Dignified Headmaster's Charge if you want people to laugh at you.

As far as gemming and enchants go it's generally a matter of personal taste & style between stamina and offense. The only no brainers are 35 spellpower & 20 stamina to legs, 10 stamina to helm & shoulders, and 81 spellpower if your weapon is a staff.

Ok, that post looks like crap. How do I clean that up so it's legible?

Edit: Had to remove all the links to the gear I listed because the post form screws them up.
