I'm starting now, so don't mention grandfather items such as Deadskull shield.

I really dont know which shield to pick? What's BiS for an ele shammy?

Yes, if you're alliance and not planning on faction changing you could include it in the original post.



For alliance, forest buckler is probably the best.

While im at it, anything else I should grab as horde before I transfer back?
 
you might wanna get jutebraid gloves if they r still in the game, im not sure if they are but they r horde only. Also, you can get two seals of argas rings if u do the quest on horde side then do it again when ur alliance. Also as said above there is the sheild.

Here is a chardev I made of what I think a great enhancement shaman looks like. Almost 200 spellpower, over 20 percent crit and a good amount of health, as well as being hit capped. Some things can be changed for personal preferance, such as 4 stats to chest to 100 hp if u want more health, and 7 stam to boots to minor speed if u feel that you are too slow.

wild rider gloves

merger boots

uninsured bracers

argas ring

stillwater signet

No, its just that you wont be able to hit cap with spirit due to the Windshear nerf (Youll have to put your talent point in Improved Windshear or whatever) and the best way to hitcape will be Acquisition + Spidersilk Drape

What race are you planning to be?
 
Well right now i'm leaning towards being a hpala instead.

But it all depends wether to be horde or alliance. If horde -> goblin, mostly because of the rocket jump and looks.

Draenei if alliance I think.
