Snowdew Multi-boxing 1x Holy Pally, 1x Priest and 3 Hunters

I entered a WSG on my Rogue around 20 mins ago and I noticed there was 5 people from Area 52 on the Horde side, I was like meh a premade bitches ain't shit rar rar. Few mins into the BG I realised they were Multi-Boxing, I took my time to figure out who was leading the pack and it was "Snowdew" a Level 24 Holy Pally. As a group we proceeded to try and kill "Snowdew" but when anyone would open on Either Snowdew or the other Healer who was a Priest they would get Scatter shot by the Hunters and Feared by the Priest then litterally die in 2 seconds. As far as I remember Multi-Boxing is a banable offence ? Sorry if this is old news but basically the whole of Alliance side reported him.

Multi-boxing is complete legal. It can be annoying though.
 
Most likely rolled pally because if you kill the 24 his whole operation falls apart and that probably happens less on a pally then it did on his shaman
 
Using automated mechanics is illegal. As far as dual boxing 2 different classes he might be using some automated stuff unless it might be 2 different guys idk really.

Actually they dont its 1 24 (p2p)+ 2-3 trial accounts(f2ps). Probs a pain in the ass to multibox though i cant imagine how many runs the multiboxer been thru to get 3x naga battle gloves and 3x bands of serrakis/black wolf bracers. Just remember though there will always be bigger fish in the pond.

you could always /afk and go play on another toon till the guy stops Q'ing or perhaps go out and socialize.
 
As above basically, multiboxing itself isn't against Blizz's terms of service, but automation is. Now, you might find it impossible to box that many different classes without automation, and I'd agree, but firstly, Blizz don't care, and secondly, it's insanely difficult to prove one way or the other. So on that level, I don't imagine anything happening. You can try reporting it etc. but because it's about another player, the only response you'll get is that "due to privacy concerns..." and they will still be playing, so I'd be assuming absolutely nothing happened.



Blizz aren't as bad as PayPal, but they will ban someone for pointless shit, or even their own mistakes, and allow blatantly unsportsmanlike behavior like this. In the end, they are still making a shitload of money, and until that changes, don't expect too much to change from Blizz. That said, make a big enough noise about it, and they might just pay attention to it.

there's nothing at all unfair about multiboxing. N-O-T-H-I-N-G. one player controlling multiple characters is ALWAYS going to be inferior to multiple players each controlling 1 character, by definition



what you are really complaining about is the fact that you and the rest of your team suck too much to individually outplay 1 player who is controlling multiple characters at once. think about that for a second. your problem with multiboxing is that you suck too much to beat it, not that the multiboxer is doing anything unfair or violating any kind of rule



when i play with my friends, and we're all on skype, we too can all kill a target at the same time. we too can instantly know when to heal each other. we too can move around in a coordinated fashion. this is not cheating, this is not unfair - this is actually what non-morons do when they play games, whether it's on the internet or in real life
 
Defeating multiboxers tends to require a team effort and a level of communication that isn't usually present in PuGs. It can feel pretty cheap, but rarely effects the outcome of games because keeping that many toons together at all times puts his team at a tactical disadvantage.

Lol at asking if this is illegal. No he is not using "automated mechanics" to play more than one class, its very easy, Keybinds ftw.

Your calling me shit because I don't use Skype in the 20-24 Bracket to co-ordinate kills on Multi-boxers. All my friends and acquaintances have Multi-Gladiator toons, I myself got S8 Glad on my Pally, so go ahead and call me shit because I don't "SKYPE" when I'm bored and log on my 24 Rogue to do a BG.



Go try and solo Heroic Firelands, ohhhh wait ! you need co-ordination for that, to actually form a raid group ? I log over and que for a BG because I'm bored and have spare time, I don't create a premade incase of the odd chance I come up against Multi-boxers. In other words your telling me to go out of my way to beat these guys when I'm just chillin having some fun. " Non-morons" also known as nerds with too much time on their hands that take the 20-24 bracket too seriously lol your trash mate. If me playing casually in the 20-24 bracket makes me a moron that sucks at this game then Sir... I applaud your logic.
