The Holy Grail of Twinking?!

Here's a wild idea for you Kore, it might just get Blizzard's attention since they like money and publicity.



Tally up the amount of money that twinks pay into Blizz: Subscription, realm transferring, faction changes, race changes, name changes. Buying pets and mounts. Basically all the money they spend to make their version of a perfect twink.



Then give Blizz a headcount of how many twinks are on our site that are active and still playing to hilt. Maybe if they see that we're not just a hole-in-the-wall gang, that we're an active and big part of their money flow, they might give you some spotlight if they feel that money lost from twinks would be damaging.

Forget it people this is just the lure they want people like us to buy the next expansion. They'll promise you they'll balance it out and you'll get so excited that you'll go buy Mists just to make a 70 twink Pandaren monk.

But what might be an idea is to (also) approach the departments that might actually care, like eg the marketting department:



''You spend a lot of time on trying to make the game attractive to new players, like playing for free till level 20. But all your efforts are severely gimped by the game up to 20 being extremely unbalanced by the dev concentrating on end-game only.



Luckily, we are a website dedicated to the early level experience, have been around since X, and have multiple suggestions on how we can improve the early game experience and hence the effectiveness and success of your department.



If you are not the ones we should direct our feedback to, could you help us get in touch with the ones we should direct our attention to?''

I've tried contacting several depts. within blizzard before, but maybe it's worth trying the marketing dept. I got through to PR once and had a little chat with someone about a slightly different topic (was still denied), I might revive that little convo and see where that gets me.



Oh, and I have told them in my emails how active the site is (views/month) but its difficult to estimate exact figures to put a monetary value on.

I think blizzard underestemates the amount of people that twink or pvp in low level or maybe they are just ignoring twinks. I pay them money and I think they should work for it.

Btw Kore, now that Class/Talent balancing has been delayed till pandaland, does this mean there wil be more concentrating on the other major branch of imbalance ie the gear issues?
