No wotlk Upgrade, are xp-off?

I would like to make a level 70 twink for PvP. But I would like to be able to do regular battlegrounds. So my question is if I made a new account and never upgraded it to wotlk would I be able to still do regular battlegrounds. Are would I only be able to run them with XP-off people?

Yes, I have the same account, I paid £9. For my Classic / BC account, I am able to do almost everything a regular WOTLK twink can do, except for level professions past 375, and queue for WOTLK dungeons.

Which basically means you can't get bis which is the whole point of twinking.

the days of vanilla / bc acc twinking is over you must have at least wotlk with cata trial for eng ( if you pick up eng)

To answer your main question you'll be put in xp off. I think though if you do the free trial of wrath (once every 90 days) you can play in xp-on but meh xp-off is better anyways.

Playing on a Vanilla/Class, Burning crusade, or Wrath account locks you into that bracket as a twink, ie; Queue @ 70 with a Burning crusade account; You'll be put in the Exp-off, or twink bracket, same for Wrath, and classical accounts, So no, you wont be able to go into Exp-on bgs with no downfall, and curbstomp noobs day and night, though, you can join with exp turned on, leave before flag caps, before game is over, etc etc, not that i'd recommend it.



In short; Classic/Bc/Wotlk accounts = Same bracket as Exp-off players.
