He disorients you for 5 seconds, it has a 30 yrd range, and it has an 8-10 GCD. While im disoriented i cannot block/dodge/parry, he brings my health down to 50% each time he does it. Bandaiding has a 30 seconds cooldown, he can do his disorient me 3 times before I can bandaid again.
that video was him when he was lvl10, that guy is fucking tough. I blocked/parried/dodged every attack, avoided his AoE dmg, but the stupid 5 seconds disorient is what kills me. The disorient is unavoidable, but if you can manage to get hit by it while dropping from two different levels, you wouldn't be getting freecasted by the NPC. but the timing is unrealistic and feels impossible
It's an instant cast, but there's a GCD on his disorient. If you can manage to jump down from a 2nd level to a first level while in midfield and get hit by the disorient, then you wont die as easily. that's how i managed to get his health down to 2730 but i kept faking up with the timing and died ):
Aye I could, but then I would be without a shield and I'd be taking 150+ melee swings. The fire dmg isnt wat is killing me, it's his melee hits. When I am disoriented, i cant block/parry/dodge. He gets 3-5 swings at me when I get in the disorient which is about 500+ dmg from his melee hits, that's killing me.
I could see a disc priest be able to do this fight. Keep HoT up and bubble right before he does his disorient, keep ur DoT up, and bandage when ever u can.
I couldn't get him down on Bank at level 10, yet I didn't try a lot on this guy. Was really hoping to get D-1000 down, which was even harder, in term of damage received.
Btw, this was in 4.0.3, so Crusader Strike miss used to give holy power. And I had stunt instead of Holy Light.
Btw, I found out that at level 11, Zephyrus was tons easier.
I was able to beat D-1000 by bringing him over to the stairs, When ever I needed to bandage, I'd jump down and got a half a bandage off before he got his way back up to me. When he goes into his dragon form tho it was hard since he had a CC on ya.
