I've been playing a resto druid healer/fc/support for a couple of weeks now, and it's quite fun. Wouldn't call it the best, no, not at all, but it has a few good sides:
-Bear form, which will be buffed in 4.3 to provide some more survivability.
-Travel form, this helps you get away from most classes if you know how to use it. Very good mobility, there are very few situations you aren't faster than all the other classes (you can form out of any roots/slows). Also, you are the fastest to reach the flag in the start of the game, and fastest player in the field (besides rogue sprint which is slowable, has cd and lasts for only 8 sec). Lets you get into places other classes will have to struggle to get to.
-Entangling roots. A great support for when you're not carrying the flag and you are helping the FC to cross midfield. Just spam root on every opponent near the fc
only other druids will get away from this easily, and they usually are not much of a threat to the FC.
-Cat forms prowl. You are one of the 2 classes able to stealth. Well what can I say about stealth, you probably know its benefits.
The downside is the heals aren't very powerful at all. But if you're looking for a fun class to play, IMO druid is the way to go!
Yeah that's that about my druid advertising... ^^
