Explorer title anyone?

Freenubsdie

Legend
I am currently working on the World Explorer achievement on my 24...which grants a "Tabard of the Explorer" and the "Explorer" title. It is very time consuming and requires lots of corpse hopping due to being such a low level.

Anyone else working on the Explorer title and have any tips you want to share?

I have never done it on such low toon, what i would suggest is to get a lvl 85 friend to boost you using a two seat mount, it would probably take 1/4 of the time it will normally take you.

I like the challenge though! The two-seater would take most of the fun out of this "grind". I like personally exploring everything but being such a low level makes it rather difficult.

Any tips besides high-level assistance?

I already know the corpse running "Return to Graveyard" trick.

Ewww.. a 24

I'm working on it also, with my lvl 20 F2P, knowing that i'll not have it complete until i buy it: Josiel @ Gurubashi - US

Some tips may be ovious, but here we go:

- Follow the roads, it is much less likely to get killed in the roads.

- Halloween broom is very useful, since it is instant-cast.

- Use your ghost form well, remember you can use it to reach a town, when you get there, just click on the button "return to graveyard" and it will return you to the town's GY, EXCEPT IF YOU ARE IN HYJAL, or you'll be teleported to Astranaar (Ashenvale), it's a pain in the ass.

- There are some areas only reachable with flying mounts, like Storm Peaks, The Makers' Perch (Sholazar Basin) and Vermillion Redoubt (Twilight Highlands), so try and find a friend with Recruit-a-friend mount or the alchemy drake.

- I never tested it for sure, but it seems Tol Barad is reachable (i almost got there) if you get some swim speed increases, Swim Speed Potion is the most helpful, but you'll have to have many (i had only 3 and got about 3/5 the way to Tol Barad).

My brother did this when he was 19. Was not fun from what he said, as you mentioned LOTS of corpse hopping. There used to be a really really solid guide written on it specifically for twinks but I'm not sure whatever happened to it.

If you could locate it again, I would be happy. Thanks ^^

Thanks for the tips! I don't think Tol Barad is reachable btw...I swam there from the northern tips of Vashj'ir (Kelpthar Forest), and when I was over it (on the world map's perspective), I was still in deep waters (like mariana's trench DEEP). I think Tol Barad is phased.

You have to get summoned by a lock, summoned by the meeting stone, or Have Group, Will Travel'd to get to Tol Barad. I admire that you would like to do this without a high level, but keep in mind i did it in like.. 1 saturday and i would HATE to have taken the long way. GL
