Lvl 20s and 24s in BGS

Yep the same people that farm new players are f2p twinks. Then when a 24 twink kills a f2p twink guess what? the f2p twink QQ on the forum.

The same people that think this is "unfair", they ran around killing people nine levels below, GY-farmiing for hours thorugh whole Vanilla and TBC...

fyi i may have antagonize 24s out of frustration but its is because of people like therealtwink and Mehcritkillu making accusations that have been made by 24s that were first trolling the f2p forums then f2pchat. i get tired of hearing the same crap 10000 times. i get it not all f2p 20s are good but do some 24s really have to drill it in my head 10000 times?

Tavern is the place to discuss this i think. But if you want like some 24s in eplc rather than debating you could make f2p 20 on aerie peak and see it from both sides. No point in pointless banter when you can experience both sides like harleybow.

hmm i suppose you ll find assholes on both sides. i was thinking of asking cihc to let me make a thread on the tavern where 20-24 debate could be held with a few ground rules such as no accusations.

it ll be a great idea to hear reasons from both sides.

only way that would work is if the rules was an instant ban for trolling it, but ppl would just make an account for trolling

Then when you got the ability to hire the NPC's... good god. It was such a pressure reliever. Much akin to being able to group with someone after being solo for all that time. I know the feeling of not being able to group with others and having to use every last piece of material or gear to it just can't cut it anymore. There's not a mailing system or an AH in Guild Wars so whatever you had, that was it until you found better. To craft gear in Guild Wars was expensive. I mean massive amounts of gold. You had to scrape and save every silver and farm for hours on end to get ahead. It's damn near the same as being capped at 10g. When that 10g is gone, it's like being gutted.[/font]

I joined trade (worst mistake I ever made, lol) and read all kinds of horrible things about the BG's and what classes were OP, which ones to gank, which ones to avoid. I was terrified of the BG's. (For a while I wouldn't go into the tram because every time I did, I was killed by some Horde trying to sneak into SW.)[/font]

That was my first friend in the game and I relied on him for everything. Then I got to know my guildies and eventually broke into WoW, found some great players and was fortunate to join some really great guilds and communities. I know the other side, I know it well. I could go on and explain everything in greater detail and bring up more points about how I'm not ignorant to what the f2p's face, but while it might satisfy a few, I don't believe that it would do much to quell the hate that's gripped the 20/24 bracket so firmly. Not when everyone is still in the BG's earning more hate and giving reasons -to- hate.[/font]



[font=times new roman,times,serif]What really sticks in my craw about the whole thing is that some people act so victimized when they don't have a full grasp on what they're doing. A person can be a crappy class/spec, get slaughtered, and feel that the person that beat them is a bully or some griefing @#$%*& and get the wrong idea. Like I said (and some are coming to realize) that not all 24's are bullies. Not all f2p's are broke, rebellious former player, or kids that can't pay for WoW. There are circumstances to everything and not everyone knows everyone else's reasons for doing what they do. A lot of assumption is had and it fuels the fire. Trolls certainly don't help, nor do people who only read half a thread or just a few words of the topic and post their spill without thinking about what they're post will do to the over all picture.[/font]

f2p hunters do 10x more farming than 24s, when i play my pally with 3k hp (umad 24nubsdie?) i've never had a 24 ask me to hold the flag while they farm but in most games i get omg noob dont cap yet from f2ps.



fact is f2ps should practise what they preach.

The fact is that the 20-24 bracket is much larger than this website. So you can't accurately judge it based on the individuals that post here. The majority of random 20s I run into while doing WSG want to farm, but nine times out of ten I end up being the FC and cap it every time.

70's cry about 74's.

80's cry about 84's.

i play ap alliance so coordinating a 15 man AP group would take a really long while. Mostly i do 5 man premades and we lose sometimes as we bump into other premades from AP or other servers. Oh and we dont hold flag to farm gy we cap it.

FYI wasnt accusing you guys of doing so i was stating that the premades dont with AP alliance dont gy farm. Also i dont think premading is bullying its grouping with a group of people you know to have fun with, win sometimes lose sometimes.

FYI i am done with the us vs them mentality. Some reasonable 24s made me realize not all 24s are hate inciting trolls.

Just curious, why are so many 24s unwilling to play within the restrictions that the vast majority of the bracket face? I keep on thinking it over, but I can't come up with any reason other than a desire to steamroll.



Admittedly I made a 24 some months back when I got tired of getting rolled in pugs by the horde 24 guilds. I think I played it for about a week before getting obscenely bored with it. How do you guys continue to play like that? It felt like playing a game using all the cheat codes, just going through the motions with no challenge or fun involved.
